i open my inner eye
introspective
seeing the hidden part
a secret side few ever see
it is deadly beautiful
breathing rage, it seethes
intoxicating
inside, curled
fetal but fatal
it stretches, kicking
yet no one sees the foot prints
pressing, pressure in my skull
no one sees
not a glimpse
until…
you push too hard
go too far
then your vision will clear
and you will become witness
viewer of the beast in me
